Drag to Reorder

MoneyWell has always made good use of drag and drop as a shortcut to create transfers and money flows, but did you know that you can also reorder accounts, buckets and transactions by dragging them?

Accounts and buckets are kept in the order you place them. On the main window, simply drag an account up and down its list until you see a line appear above another account and then release. Buckets work the same way, and you can even select a group of buckets or accounts and move them all at once.

On the Fill Buckets panel, you can create a different custom order for buckets with drag and drop. This will prioritize your fills and won't affect the order on the main list.

Transactions can be ordered within a date to keep them in sync with your bank statements. Simply make sure you have a single account selected, All Transactions in the bucket list and the transactions sorted by date. Then just drag a transaction or a group of them up and down to reorder them. The only restriction is that the date has to be the same for transactions your are sequencing.
