How do I start over with syncing or switch documents?

Please use these steps to reset syncing if you are having trouble or if you want to switch to a different document for syncing:

If you are completely clearing the sync data to start fresh, or if you are switching documents, you must clear syncing on all devices.

Clearing Sync in MoneyWell for iPhone

  1. In MoneyWell for iPhone, tap the gear icon, then tap Sync via Dropbox.
  2. Tap the Edit button, tap the red circle next to the document, then tap the Delete button. That breaks the connection, but it does not delete the data on the iPhone.
  3. Repeat these steps for any other devices using MoneyWell for iPhone. If you only sync with iPhones, then on the last iPhone device, use the Clear Dropbox Button instead of deleting the document from the list. That will delete all MoneyWell sync data from Dropbox.

Clearing Sync in MoneyWell for Mac

  1. In MoneyWell for Mac, go to the Syncing tab in Preferences.
  2. Click Clear to the right of the Dropbox document setting. That will delete all MoneyWell sync data from Dropbox.
  3. Wait a moment for the Dropbox icon in the Mac's menu bar to stop spinning.
  4. Repeat these steps for any other devices using MoneyWell for Mac.
