Can't figure out how to get my income into my buckets
Hi there. I'm totally new to mac and also to Moneywell. I think I've gotten all of my transactions from Quicken transferred over and assigned to bucket categories. I've set my cash flow start date to 6/1/09 in an attempt to try to understand moneywell from June's transactions in order to plan for the next month. When I started, I could see all of my income buckets with balances and my expense buckets were overturned with numbers that seemed to add up to what I had spent in each category. (I think because I had no spending plan). However, now, I have nothing in my income buckets so I can't establish my cash flow. . . Can anyone help with what I am doing wrong? Thanks!

Hi Amy,
Check out our FAQs and our video tutorials to see if they help. The How do I put money in my buckets so I can spend it? FAQ is a good place to start.
I'd suggest that you set up your spending plan and then restart your cash flow on July 1, 2009 so you can track it from a clean starting point.

Thanks. I've checked out those tutorials and things. Just having a hard time with the paradigm shift. We've decided to keep a checkbook register in numbers and try out the moneywell thing for a month and see if we can get it.
