Cleared Balance

Kevin,

Just purchased a license a couple days ago. It is nice to see software that almost exactly emulates my family's budgeting/spending philosophy. Just kudos all the way around.

I am still in the "transition" phase from the old running balance/budget mentality, and I am liking the switch, but I have one question/suggestion. My bank does not allow Direct Connect, so I do all my imports almost daily. Instead of a running balance, it would be nice to see a "cleared balance is $xxxxx" at the bottom of the screen along with the bucket and reconciled balance. This way, I could, at a glance, know that my ledger matches with my bank. This would help me if I missed an imported transaction, or accidentally doubled up a transaction or, or accidentally deleted a transaction with a simple keyboard/mouse-click error. Since I only download the current month's transactions when I view my bank, it would be nice to know if I erroneously altered my register for a past month or even the current month. I know that I will, of course, find this when I reconcile, but if I had a cleared balance total, I can "reconcile" daily.

I hope my ramblings made sense, and I think this would be a nice added feature - unless, of course, there is a reason not to have this, or this functionality is present in a different manner - maybe even a Cleared Transactions SMART bucket - I don't know...
